FNB Top 20 - 2 August 2011

This has been a harder year than usual for composing the FNB Top 20 because of the constant changes and surprises, which tell the truth that we all know – that there are so many outstanding rugby teams in South African schools.

We have continued to reward playing teams and some will drop right off for the time being because they are not playing.

There is movement.

Queen’s had a good away draw and St Andrew’s continued their improvement with a win over Dale. Grey PE took a pounding as did SACS. Paarl Gim beat Drostdy and Maritzburg College had their second defeat in a week at the hands of a Pretoria side, this time Pretoria Boys High.

Because of all the changes, some sides go up by default rather than achievement.

Hentie Cilliers get close for the first time this year.
