FNB Top 20 - 2010 final
After examining evidence, careful consideration and debate we have produced the final FNB Top 20 of 2010. The easy part of the job was choosing the top two teams. After that it became difficult. In our deliberations we took into consideration the calibre of opposition as much as results.
Everybody will realise that this ranking is not absolute. One would have to have the same teams playing the same teams under the same circumstances to make it possible, and even then it would not be absolute.
There have been many really good First XVs in South Africa this year and it is sad for us that we have not been able to include Ben Vorster, Centurion, Dale, Diamantveld, Duineveld. Dr EG Jansen, Jeppe, KES, Nelspruit, Queen’s and Rondebosch – apart from many, many other good teams.
