FNB Top 20 - 23 June 2009

Most schools are not playing at present, what with Craven Week trials and exams, though some of those who do best at exams actually play at this time. Still there have been some interesting results.

There were big wins for Paarl Boys’ High and Glenwood in competition with other teams on the FNB Top 20 and also for Waterkloof, Monument, Michaelhouse and Wynberg who are already on the Top 20.

Klerksdorp now move up to get a foot on the ladder while Rondebosch and Ben Vorster of Tzaneen come into consideration.

We have continued to try to reward teams playing and doing well.

This will be our last FNB Top 20 for this term.

Last week readers’ comments were removed because somebody wrote too much in his comment. We replaced the comments but we really should keep them shorter. Also some of comments are no credit to the writers or the institutions they support. It is meant to be a fun opportunity not a forum for venting anonymous nastiness. There is nothing bright or brave in that. We have removed some comments as a result.
