FNB Top 20 - 28 July 2009

This is the first FNB Top 20 of the third term. In several parts many teams have stopped playing. There are still competitions on the go and the southern part of the country carries on enjoying rugby football.

In preparing our Top 20 we have included the results from the Cape Schools Week and then those recently.

We continue rewarding those who played and some may have shifted down only to make room for those who have played,.

Perhaps the biggest achievers since the last FNB Top 20 a month ago have been Paarl Gim who have won four matches since then Others worth noting are two big wins for Die Brandwag of Uitenhage and strong victories for Monnas, Bishops and Outeniqua.

The remarkable match was Paul Roos’s 54-31 victory over Oakdale in which the Stellenbosch side struck gold with three quick tries.

The Rooiskool of Kroonstad won their FNB Classic Clash in style against a brave Blouskool.
