FNB Top 20 - 29 April 2009

Yoh! We have had a big weekend behind us in which several of the country’s top schools have been playing against each other. This has had a seismic effect on the FNB Top 20.

In the several years that we have been doing the Top 20, this has been the biggest shake-up. They are pretty much the same schools as last week but in different positions. The only new school in the FNB Top 20 is Framesby of Port Elizabeth. At Paarl Gim’s Super Schools tournament, Framesby were named the school playing the most attractive rugby on the last day.

It was a funny weekend as some schools were hyperactive, others dormant. It’s hard to promote or even include schools that do not play.

Grey College has romped to top position after a big win over the strong Selborne side.
