FNB Top 20 - 8 August
Some big results
Possibly the outstanding result of the weekend was Waterkloof' victory over Monument, a big turnabout from what happened earlier in the season and ending Monnas' reign as Beeld champions.
Then Grey College had a big win over Pretoria Boys High and Gimmies won the Interschools more easily than the score suggests.
Glenwood also turned the tables on Maritzburg College. Well beaten in Pietermaritzburg, they won in Durban. Glenwood move up. And still in KwaZulu Natal Kearsney beat neighbours Westville.
Marlow found Oakdale tough going and now play Outeniqua in Cradock. The Kwaggas had a rest this last week because of the flooding in the George area.
Boland Landbou, Bishops, Paul Roos, Queen's and Diamantveld had big wins.
We have taken off some schools in the bubbling under group who have not played for some time. But we have brought in Diamantveld and Selborne We have also taken off Strand who got a hiding from SACS.
