FNB Top 20 for 19 May 2009

It was an awkward week this for the FNB Top 20 because so many schools did not play. There were trials here and there and then there was some wet in the Cape that meant that three of our top schools did not have a game.

It’s hard to promote schools which did not play – for example Paul Roos, Paarl Boys’ High and Bishops. Affies lost but that was to mighty Grey College. The reports suggest that they played well and then below them KES did not have a great result and the next two did not play.

We have rewarded Marlow for their good win.

Paarl Gim lost to Boland Landbou but the four schools below them did not play. We have rewarded Boland Landbou.

Oakdale lost and drop down. That is possible because Rustenburg won well and can move up. EG Jansen also get a foot on the ladder with their huge victory.

HTS Drostdy of Worcester come into the group bubbling under.
