Free State win U17 Sevens

Free State had a big win over the Blue Bulls in the Final while Western Province, winners in 2014 and 2015, were knocked out in the quarterfinal and were left to contest the Plate, without success.

Three teams went unbeaten into the knock-out stages but were all beaten in the quarterfinals – Golden Lions, Griffons and Western Province..
