Garsies are the Sevens champs
In the 16th and final round of the @lantic Sevens Series, Garsfontein of Pretoria, the host school, put in a powerful finish to win the tournament, in the process dethroning the previous winners, Hoërskool Tygerberg.
In their semifinal Tygerberg had had a big win over Affies who had beaten them in the pool match and so seemed set to reproduce their victories of 2010 and 2012. But Garsfontein were much too strong on the windy Pretoria afternoon.
Hentie Cilliers with their Harmony Sports Academy were too good for Grey PE in the plate Final while Montana of Pretoria and Sarel Cilliers of Glencoe both had great comebacks that brought them within an ace of victory.
