Graeme's Rugby Day 2019
Graeme College’s 21st Rugby Day takes place at the college on 16 March 2019.
There will be 16 teams in action on the Somerset Field plus matches of lower age-group teams on the Marais Fields.
Of those 16 1st XVs, 15 are from the Eastern Capo. The 16th is from SACS of Newlands in the Western Cape, the oldest school in South Africa and one that seems always happy to travel. SACS play St Andrew’s in what promises to be an interesting encounter.
Five of the schools are from Grahamstown – Kingswood, Mary Waters, PJ Olivier, St Andrew’s and hosts Graeme.
Graeme play the main match on the day – against Dale College of King William’s Town who are always energetic opposition.
All of the 24 age-group teams are from the Eastern Cape. In those matches, Graeme play Dale at Under-16, Under-0165 and Under-14 levels.
