Grey go to Glenwood

It will be a remarkable migration – not only 22 rugby teams but also teams for hockey, golf, debating, mountainbiking, squash, tennis, chess and tabletennis.

One year Grey could not get through because of snow but that seems unlikely this year.

Not all the top players in the teams will be available this week as SA Schools and SA Schools A are down in the Western Province playing in the international tournament with teams from England, France, Italy and Wales. But if you look at the achievers from the two schools you will be aware that they are top sides.

Glenwood are clearly the strongest team in KwaZulu Natal and Grey College make a huge contribution to schools rugby in South Africa.

Season So Far

Currently Grey are ranked fourth on the FNB Top 20, Glenwood 10th.

Grey have lost only once this year but have not played as many matches – as Grey – as some other schools. Their defeat was at the hands of powerful Paarl Boys' High.
