Grey go to King
Grey High School of Port Elizabeth will head some 250 km north to King William’s Town this weekend for yet another bout of rugby between these two great schools, rivals and friends.
Grey was founded in 1856, Dale in 1861.
As far as rugby goes, Grey always been one of the best rugby schools in Eastern Province, Dale one of the best in Border. Old Boys of both schools have performed great things at national and provincial level.
Both sides are known for their creative rugby, loving the running game.
In 2018 Grey won 33-12 in Port Elizabeth.
Season so Far
Dale have played eight matches this year, losing only to Ben Vorster (49-46).
Grey have played six matches, winning six, drawing with Wynberg (27-all) and losing to Rondebosch 18-17.
Grey look to have played stronger opposition than Dale and are ranked 14th on the Top 20.
