Hudson Park start strong at KES
Hudson Park of East London kicked off the 1st XV matches at the KES Easter Festival with a massive 53-10 victory over Hentie Cilliers of Virginia.
Henties have a powerful reputation amongst Free State schools and recently beat Maritzburg College 27-26, drew 24-all with Fichardtpark and lost 20-15 to the Lions of Hoërskool Kalahari. Hudson Park lost heavily, 43-22, to the powerful Selborne side to start their season and then beat Muir College of Uitenhage 26-0.
In the second match St David's Marist of Johannesburg beat Graeme College of Grahamstown and then Kingswood College of Grahamstown beat Parktown of Johannesburg.
Northwood of Durban actually led Queen's College oif Queenstown when they scored foirst. But it was the Queenians who ran out handsome winners.
Eldoraigne, the promising Rondebosch side and hosts KES ended the day soling winners.
