Hudson Park vs Stirling.

Their best match this year may well have been a defeat – 41-38 to Waterkloof, who are currently ranked eighth on the Schools Top 20. Hudson Park have been on the Top 20 on occasion and are currently one of the schools just below the Top 20.

Hudson Park have played 13 matches this season, losing seven. Stirling have played 10, losing four. Stirling's best match was undoubtedly its victory over Queen's College.

Hudson park have four players in the Border Craven Week side and seven in the Academy Week side. Stirling have three going to Craven Week and six going to the Academy Week, both weeks at St Stithians in Randburg this year.

It's anybody's game.

It is also a good chance for Stirling to break Hudson Park's grip on the game. The last time Stirling won was in 2007 and that was at Hudson Park where this match will take place.

The match is likely to be all the more intense as the schools have a similar ethos and like each other.

Their coaches, Reinhard Gerber of Stirling and James Winstanley of Hudson Park, played together for Border and are the joint coaches of the Border Academy Week.
