Independent Schools Festival Starts
In the main match Bishops met Eton College of Windsor for the first time and gave them a drubbing.
Eton, a school famous for its Wall Game and its impressive list of former pupils, including royalty, 19 British prime ministers and 37 holders of the Victoria Cross, has never attended the Festival before and this was the first time they have played against Bishops.
Eton brought two teams and the second team were victorious against Somerset College of Somerset West.
Also playing at the Festival is Excelsior Secondary School of Belhar, a Cape Town suburb. They beat Christian Brother's College of Boksburg.
