Iqhawe: Day 3 Results, Prizes

Thursday was the last day of the Under-15 Iqhawe Tournament at City Park in Cape Town, ending with the main match between Western Province and Free State and followed by awards and lots of thanks.

Western Province won the main match and Jereldo Carelse was named Man of the Match.

The matches on Day 3 were played on two of the excellent fields at City Park. This was to leave teams free in the afternoon to start the journey home, for some a long journey.

Green Smile vs Eastern Province, 12-7

Western Province vs Free State, 12-3

B Field

Valke vs Griffons, 22-7

Blue Bulls vs Golden Lions, 38-26

Best Back: Jereldo Carelse (Western Province)

Best Forward: Macomo (Leopards)

B Field

Best Back: Bongani Mkhize (Golden Lions)

Best Forward: Kennedy Labane (Blue Bulls)

A presentation was also made to the management of the Western Province side, the best team at the tournament.
