JG Linde - Captain of Jim Fouche

Jim Fouche captain JG Linde knows that nothing short of total commitment will be good enough when his side square up to local rivals Sentraal on Saturday.

Linde is an all-action openside flank who moulds his game on Cheetahs ace Heinrich Brussow, and he is hoping to inspire his pack to produce a wholehearted performance against the more physical Sentraal forwards.

The Jim Fouche skipper says that after a ‘rough’ start to the season his team is now starting to gel, and after having reeled off four wins in a row confidence is certainly high, although they are under no illusions about the size of the task facing them this weekend.

“It is always tough against Sentraal and this is going to be another hard game. We need to focus on giving it our all but we also need to be accurate as the team that makes the least mistakes will be able to put the opposition under pressure,” he said.

Linde says that although the Jim Fouche forwards may not be as big as their rivals from Sentraal they always “play with a lot of heart and give it our all” and he is hoping that they are able to build a decent platform for the speedy backline.

Jim fouche have built some good momentum in recent weeks which is why Linde is adamant that they will not change anything in their approach to this game as he believes the key will be to hold nothing back in order to claim the bragging rights.
