KES March on Pretoria

At least that is how the Boys High 1st XV must feel, for this year in particular KES have had a powerful team with great successes.

There have been times when Boys High have won well, like 36-12 in 2004, but not last year when KES won 50-19.

The two great schools play twice a year. In the first match of their season, KES beat Boys High 31-0 this year.

Season so Far

KES have had a really good season, They have lost just one of their 13 matches – 24-19 to difficult Monument. Their biggest win was 71-17 over St Stithians.

Of their 12 matches, Pretoria Boys High have won six and lost six. Their biggest win was 30-8 over St Alban's. Their biggest defeat was 60-5 against Selborne.

KES are ranked fourth out of 20 teams on the Schools Top 20.

Pretoria Boys High's players are eligible to play for the Blue Bulls, KES's for the Golden Lions.

The Golden Lions won all three of their matches at Craven Week, the Blue Bulls one out of three.
