Klofies for Wildeklawer

Waterkloof, currently ranked sixth on the FNB Top 20, have a strong side for the Wildeklawer Tournament where they have two of the toughest matches possible.

On the Thursday, they play Outeniqua, who were ranked No.1 for the first two weeks of the rankings, and on Saturday they play Paarl Gim who unseated Outeniqua.

Klofies are captained by prop Xander van Wyk who played for the Blue Bulls at the Academy week last year. The vice-captain and scrumhalf is Justin Phillips who played for the Blue Bulls at the 2012 Craven Week and subsequently played for SA Schools.

Apart from Xander van Wyk, hooker Reinach Venter and prop Johan van Wyk were also at the 2012 Academy Week. Centres Wilbri Gunter and Dewald Lindeque and replacement back Tristan Nel were at the Grant Khomo Week last year, Nel as a flyhalf.
