Landboudal's 2015 Fixtures

Landboudal – or to give it its full name Hoër Landbouskool Jacobsdal – in the Southern Free State has made known its list of 16 fixtures for 2015.

It is a school that takes its rugby seriously. Last year it lost three of 15 matches, two of them to Diamantveld of Kimberley which always has one of the top sides in South Africa.

This season looks more demanding than last years with a match against powerful Oakdale Landbou of Riversdale at the Paul Roos 150th birthday celebrations and later will have its first FNB Classic Clash – against Augsburg Landbougimnasium of Clanwilliam.

In addition they will be playing tough sides in HTS Louis Botha who beat them last year, Noord-Kaap, Duineveld and Hoërskool Upington who are amongst the strongest teams in South Africa.

Clearly Landboudal are seen as one of the top rugby-playing agricultural schools of whom Boland Landbou, Oakdale, Marlow, Augsburg and Weston are excellent examples.

Landboudal's fixtures start this weekend when they play Zastron at home during their own sports day.
