@lantic Sevens in Durban
Glenwood High School hosted the largest schools Sevens tournament this Saturday with 24 schools from all over KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa attending.
The crowds were treated to some exciting running rugby which saw many a try scored.
The final was a tough, physical affair which saw Glenwood High taking on Maritzburg College. In the first five minutes Glenwood made crucial errors and lost valuable possession of the ball which College quickly capitalised on by scoring two early tries.
The momentum of the game started to shift more in Glenwood’s favour near the end of the first half and most of the second half but the home side ran out of time and College eventually came out victorious by a mere two points winning 17 -15.
