Muir beat Itembelihle

Match Report

Muir captain, Brendon Meyer, capped another solid performance by contributing 16 of Muir’s points as they beat Itembelihle 31-12 in Uitenhage on Saturday after leading 16-5 at half-time.

Meyer’s  scintillating drives down the middle of the field were a thorn in the flesh of the Itembelihle defence. Meyer’s contribution came from three penalties and a converted try that were a key to his teams success.

The Muir backline was full of running and backline players, Curtis Young, Siviwe Konki and Wonke Mkonjeni each scored a try to further their team’s cause.

Mandla Diba and Xolini Mtoba each scored at try for the visitors while Mpumi Kauela added a conversion
