Muir Comeback Not Enough
At the break Muir was trailing 21-0 and were required to show some character and dig deep to get back into the game.
Missed opportunities, poor decision-making and losing focus by the Muir side saw Graeme capitalise and run in three converted tries. The College had a few opportunities but could not finish.
The second-half saw a different Muir side take the field. The College side settled down, played to their strengths and pressured Graeme into numerous errors.
Continuous grinding and dominating phases by the Muir side saw prop Siyoliso Plaatjie cross the line under the sticks. Flank Senkosi Ncapayi kicked the conversion. Outside centre Mihlali Mosi dominated his opposite number in defence, gathered a loose ball and crossed the whitewash. Ncapayi successfully converted.
Graeme got a lucky bounce and break resulting in two tries added to their account.
This did not bother the College boys and flyhalf Yomelela Keswa showed how skilful he is with ball in hand and ran in two tries. Ncapayi could converted only one successfully.
Forwards Siyolise Plaatjie, Buleleni Mangcaka, Libhongo Masang, Caleb Daniels and Sipelele Latola can be proud of themselves in their efforts during their final game for their school
In the backline José van Rooyen, Yomelela Keswa, Lunathi Nxele and Mihlali Mosi supported their forwards well throughout the season and kept many a backline busy with superb running lines and plays off the ball.
