Nico Malan go up to PE

For their FNB Classic Clash on 23 August 2014, Nick Malan go up from Humansdorp to take on Framesby. Both are schools enthusiastic about rugby.

Season so Far

Nico Malan have played 19 matches, winning 11 and losing eight. Their opponents come from near and far – from Mossel Bay to Durban and Johannesburg – and include five teams that are in the FNB Top 20 or have been there. Five of their eight defeats have been against such powerful schools.

Framesby have played 17 matches, winning eight and losing nine.  Of their nine defeats seven have been against teams currently on the FNB Top 20. But their last match was a victory over a Top 20 side – Oakdale (20-18). Their opponents, too, range from afar – from Paarl to Durban and Klerksdorp.

Framesby have themselves just got onto the Top 20, ranked 19th, which shows how highly they are regarded.
