Noord-Kaap race into Final

Noord-Kaap played ungenerous hosts to Jim Fouché in a semifinal of the KOVSIE Central Region league, beating them 58-17 in the hot August wind of Kimberley on Saturday.

This means that Noord-Kaap will play Hentie Cilliers of Virginia next Saturday in the Final at Shimla Park in Bloemfontein after Henties beat Sentraal of Bloemfontein 25-22 in the other semifinal.

Noord-Kaap led 27-7 at half-time as their pack took control.

Dimitrio Tieties scored 33 points for the winner, which included four tries. The other wing, Hillford Clarke, scored three tries.  In all Noord-Kaap scored nine tries. Tieties and Hillford each scored a hat-trick against Northwood earlier in the season.
