North-South Wrap

Hoërskool Garsfontein hosted the North-South Rugby Festival, starting on 15 March 2019 and ending on 19 March 2019 after four days of high-scoring rugby.

In 26 matches, 1 369 points were scored, an average of nearly 53 points per match. The most points in a match happened when Grey College played Menlopark. 87 points were scored. The fewest was 24 when the second teams of the same schools met.

In North-South competition amongst 1st XVs, there were 14 matches. South won seven, North six and one was drawn.

The first XVs which won both their matches were Affies, Grey and Paarl Gim. They clearly have great sides this year.
