Oakdale Awards and Team

At the end of Oakdale’s Rugby Tournament of three splendid match days, two awards were made and a team was chosen.

The award for the Team of the Tournament went to Duineveld of Upington.
The award for the Forward of the Tournament went to the hooker of Die Brandwag, Gideon Serfontein.
The award for the Back of the Tournament went to Die Brandwag’s fullback, Dano Swart.

Nine schools have players in the Tournament XV. Die Brandwag of Uitenhage have five players, hosts Oakdale and Voortrekker of Bethlehem each have two and then Despatch, Duineveld, Hermanus, Kempton Park, Landboudal and Zwartkop have one each,
