It was the last match of the season for each school and a rare win for Paul Roos who have been enjoying celebrating their 150th birthday. If you look down the results of other teams, you can see that Paul Roos did really well against the great Grey, which augurs well for the future.

The photograph in this story is taken on the Memorial B Field up at SACS at the end of the Under-16 A match, which had ended in a draw, and here the two teams form a circle with players next to opponents in a celebration of rugby sportsmanship.

In these results there are several other gems, Interschools matches which always heighten the enthusiasm of all those taking part, down to the Under-14D.

Next week will probably see the  end of the season when the four Southern Suburbs schools carry on their ancient tradition of gentlemanly rivalry. and Paarl Boys' High will be playing Outeniqua in a Final and the farm boys of Boland Landbou and Oakdale will meet.
