'Other' Results - 8 August 2015

Despite the nuisance of long weekends, some schools go ahead with rugby matches for lots and lots of fortunate boys. Here we give some of the results of teams apart from the 1st XV, large numbers of boys blest to have enthusiastic people who give them a chance to play.

When Grey went down to Pietermaritzburg, they took 22 teams with them – that is 330 boys. At least 660 boys got to play rugby at College last Saturday. and the same number of Affies boys crossed the road to play Pretoria Boys High.  That means at least 1 320 boys in two sets of rugby matches – at least that number, for there would have been more involved.

And relative to the size and make-up of the schools, that chance is given to thousands of schoolboys in South Africa. They are indeed blest.
