Oudtshoorn K2 Day 2 Results

Ben Voster and Bethlehem Voortrekker kicked off the day, in the opening match of day two.

While, the host lost against Marlow  in the last game of the tournament.

Ben Vorster 19-5 Bethlehem Voortrekker

Ben Voster started with a win over Voortrekker. The wet conditions was not ideal and both teams only manage to score one try a piece.

Muzi Nyakane scored the only try for Ben Voster, while flyhalf Jonathan Viljoen added all the other points with his boot. Voortrekker's No.8 Michael Janse van Rensburg scored his team only try, but the defense of Ben Voster hold firm and secured a win.

Langenhoven Gimnasium 22-5 Schoonspruit

Langenhoven Gim and Schoonspruit lock horns on the B-field, and Langenhoven came up as victors running four tries pass the opposition. Schoonspruit manage to score a try of their own though Enoch Mzukkia

HTS Drostdy 26-24 Helpmekaar

This was one of the toughest fixtures, with both teams opting to run the ball an amount of eight tries was scored, but a conversion seperated the two sides.

De Kuilen 29-5 Bonnievale

De Kuilen was just too strong for Bonnievale, who manage to score one try through Adion De Wee. De Kuilen ran four tries pass Bonnievale.

Worcester Gim 32-28 Brackenfell

Brackenfell scored the first try of the match though Keith Chiwara, followed by Jean-Louis de Lange, giving Brackenfell the early lead. The match was evenly pose, however Worcester Gim proved a little too strong for Brackenfell. Worcester Gim flyhalf Curtley Deelman kept the scoreboard ticking with his boot.

The match was won in the last minute though a coverted try by Adri du Plessis. The lead change hands a few times but in the end it was Duineveld who had the last say.

Marlow 25-8 Oudtshoorn

In the final match of the day, the host was beaten by Marlow. Oudtshoorn played with 14 men, Niel Swart receiving a red card, while Tiaan Fourie also spend some time in the sin-bin.
