Paarl gears up for another Classic
At Faure Street Stadium in Paarl, some 12 000 spectators witnessed the 2014 clash between the passionate schools that saw Klein Nederburg claim a 22-13 thanks to a late penalty and try.
Such is the passion of the crowd, they stormed the field after the match-winning try was scored, which delayed the match slightly as time was not yet up and the same sort of enthusiasm will definitely be showcased on Saturday.
In the 10 matches between the sides, New Orleans holds a slender 6-4 lead but Klein Nederburg will have the confidence and momentum based on their 2014 achievement.
However, if you look at the results of this season alone, New Orleans have had the better run with a winning percent of about 88 percent while Klein Nederburg has endured a mixed bag of results.
History is certainly in New Orleans favour but Klein Nederburg have already proven themselves to be a side that can defy the odds.
Both schools will field their full strength teams as all their players are fit and ready for what is sure to be a bruising and tightly contested match.
