Paarl Gim's U16 Tournament 2014
Paarl Gim's top class Under-16 tournament takes place at the school on the weekend of 29 March to 2 April 2014 with three playing days.
There will be 12 matches each day with fixtures already laid down for all three days.
Apart from Western Province schools there will be teams from KwaZulu Natal (Michaelhouse), Boksburg (Dr EG Jansen), Cradock (Marlow), Potchefstroom, Kimberley (Diamantveld), Riversdale (Oakdale), Pretoria (Affies, Centurion, Garsfontein, Waterkloof and Menlopark), Krugersdorp (Monnas), George (Outeniqua), Bloemfontein (Grey) and Port Elizabeth (Framesby).
At the end of 2013, the FNB Top 20 ranked its schools and in that ranking were schools taking part in this tournament – 1. Paarl Gim (1), Outeniqua (2), Affies (3), Grey College (4), EG Jansen (5), Paarl Boys' High (6), Garsfontein (8), Waterkloof (9), Oakdale (10), Monnas (13), Kempton Park (14) and Marlow (19). That (12 out of 20) is a good indication of the standard at this tournament.
Paarl is a good place to be as Boys' High are organising and Under-15 tournament at the other end of Grey Street.
