Paul Roos Win Pool at Sanix
Placed in Pool D of four pools, Paul Roos Gymnasium have won their three matches, played in just four days of the Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament being played in Fukuoka, Japan.
The 16 teams are divided into four pools and matches this week were on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, 28, and 29 April and 1 May 2019.

Pool A: Exeter College (England), The British Schools (Uruguay), Osaka Toin High School, Saga Technical High School
Pool B: St Peter’s College (New Zealand), Cardiff and Vale College (Wales), Higashi Fukuoka High School, Chubu University Haruhigaoka High School
Pool C: Waverley College (Australia), Baek Shin High School (Korea), Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa High School, Kyoto Seisho High School
Pool D: Enisei-STM (Russia), Paul Roos Gymnasium (South Africa), Toin Gakuen High School, Kyoto Kogakuin High School
In their pool matches, Paul Roos won easily, beating Toin Gakuen 34-13, Kyoto Kogakuin 49-7 and Enisei-STM 54-5.

Pool A: 1 Osaka Toin, 2 Exeter College, 3 The British Schools, 4 Saga Technical. Osaka Toin and Exeter drew 31`-all but the Japanese school had the better points’ difference.
Pool B: 1 St Peter’s, 2 Cardiff & Vale, 3 Higashi Fukuoka, 4 Chubu University Haruhigaoka.
Pool C: 1 Waverley, 2 Kyoto Seisho, 3 Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa, 4 Baek Shin.
Pool D: 1 Paul Roos, 2 Toin Gakuen, 3 Kyoto Kogakuin, 4 Enisei-STM .
The three rounds of knock-out matches follow on Thursday, Friday and Sunday – 2 May, 3 May and 5 May 2019. Sunday is the day of the finals.
It is an exacting tournament – six matches in eight days.
