Paul Roos win Sanix

Paul Roos Gymnasium, in their 150th year, won the Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament, played in Fukuoka, Japan, when they beat Brisbane Boys' College 35-3 in the Final on Wednesday, 6 May 2015.

Paul Roos are the fourth South African team to win the tournament which started in 2000. The other three winning schools have been Boland Landbou of Paarl, Glenwood of Durban and Grey College of Bloemfontein. For the most part the tournament has been dominated by New Zealand schools.

The victory was, as expected, clear-cut but still equalled Paul Roos's smallest winning margin, for in their first match the Stellenbosch side beat the local school Higashi Fukuoka 45-13. In all Paul Roos scored 335 points in their six tournament matches while conceding 16.
