Potch captain - Oratile Mokubyane
Oratile Mokubyane is feeling confident going into the FNB Classic Clash this weekend against HTS Potch, his team have won the last two encounters and will be looking for a third.
Mokubyane is a vocal leader in his, as well as the Leopards Under-16, team.
It has been a goal of his to captain the Potch boys team since grade eight and in his initial year in the First XV he has gotten that wish.
As a player, Mokubyane is a mobile and hard-working flank who has molded his teams playing philosophy around his own style of play.
The Potch Boys team are known for their hard and direct running style of rugby packed full of communication and motivation, which clearly stems from Mokubyane.
The team has had a successful run so far only loosing four out of 11 games, and this is with a fairly inexperienced team – only four players remain from last year.
The results between these two in the derby have been tight and Mokubyane is expecting the same this time around.
"Because of the magnitude of the game, I expect nothing short of a good 70 minutes of hard rugby," he said.
"I have being encouraging positive thinking, they should be cool, calm and confident.
"They should also not get ahead of themselves 'Total Domination' is the motto.
Mokubyane hopes to further his studies and become a charted accountant, but he would still like to stay in touch with sports.
"I would like to help develop sports as a whole in the country through Development Programmes."
