Preview: Hangklip vs Aliwal-Noord
The game is a Classic Clash and with Aliwal-Noord wiining the reverse fixture 17-7 at home last year, all eyes will be on Hangklip to see if they can do the same in front of their supporters.
Hangklip have had a bit of a bit of a flyhalf crisis this and have picked a forward to fill the all-important pivot position.
"Preparations are going well and we have had some good training sessions," said Hangklip head coach Heinrich Griebenouw.
"We started our season quite well, but then we lost two of our flyhalfs. On Saturday our No.8 will be in the flyhalf position."
Griebenouw is well aware of the kind of game likes to play.
"They are a very physical team and they are very technical as well with a well-organised team," Griebenouw added.
Aliwal-Noord head coach Damian Arends said his players were struggling a bit after a busy schedule.
"Our season should have been over by now as this fixture was supposed to happen last month," said Arends.
"It is a bit of a challenge as some of the boys are still tired due to the recent Youth Weeks rugby games."
One of those players to play Youth Weeks rugby is Aliwal-Noord's captain Janco Kruger who represented the Eastern Province Country Districts in this year's Craven Week.
Despite seemingly being the stronger of the two teams, Arends maintains that Hangklip are the favourites for the win.
"I can't say that we are the favourites. They are the home team and they will have a big advantage," Arends added.
