Preview: Kasselsvlei vs Bellville South
Kasselsvlei and Bellville South will go head-to-head in their ninth Classic Clash in Bellville on Saturday.
The schools have formed a nice little rivalry in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town over the last few years with Bellville South looking to restore their dominance after Kasselsvlei's narrow 12-6 victory in 2014.
Although they only played two games so far this season, Kasselsvlei have a record of one win and one loss this season, but have played a number of friendlies this year.
They started the official season with a 12-59 thrashing away to Brackenfell.
Bellville South have played quite a few matches the season and picked up a few wins as well. Some of their matches this have been tight affairs which includes a 13-12 win over Swartland and a 14-15 defeat against Weston.
They will be up physically for whatever Kasselsvlei throws at them and will be relying on their powerful pack of forwards to lay the platform for victory.
In their nine Classic Clashes played so far Bellville South have come out on top five times with Kasselsvlei winning three. Before last year's loss, Bellville South recorded a hat-trick of wins from 2011-2013.
