Rampant Muir beat Nico Malan

A rampant Muir recorded a resounding 24-3 defeat over Nico Malan in Humansdorp on Saturday. Muir led 12-0 at half-time.

It was the first time Muir have beaten Nico Malan in four years.

Siviwe Konki controlled the game for the visitors and scored two tries. Sinethemba Mali and Phiwe Lalendle each scored a try, while Brendan Meyer added two conversions for the visitors. Siviwe is the son of Timothy Konki, the multi-talented back of the Eighties. Siviwe, like his father, is skilled and deceptive.

Nico Scheepers responded with a penalty for Nico Malan.
