Despite the long weekend, there were several keen rugby matches, including great migrations from East London to Port Elizabeth and Durban to Bloemfontein.
There was a big tournament at Hoërskool Outeniqua in George, five FNB Classic Clashes, a rare win for Hudson Park and a big match when Glenwood went up to Bloemfontein.
On Kwaggadag the home side eventually came out winners over Noord-Kaap and Garsfontein and Dr EG Jansen had big wins.
On a beautiful day in Paarl, for the second week in a row there was a huge crowd at the stadium in Faure Street and that crowd stayed tense and excited till the final whistle and great New Orleans joy. Die Brandwag won in Uitenhage, Gill College in Cradock and Grey with a great score in PE. In Graaff-Reinet the neighbours fought to a tough 6-all draw..
