Rooiskool captain - Kobus Kleyn
For Kobus Kleyn the Rooiskool dominance over the Blouskool in Kroonstad has been in effect since before he arrived and he will hoping to push the record up to eight years come Saturday.
Having recently returned from Craven week, the Rooiskool captain is looking forward to a tough and physical battle on the weekend.
"It is like any derby, extremely hard and physical," the big No. 13 said.
"They are going to come hard at us and give it their all because they have nothing to lose."
Kleyn realise that they will go into the Classic Clash as the favourites, due in part to the recent history, but also because of their successful season.
"We have had a good season so far, we've had two slip-ups, but we are looking at this game to be another victory," he added.
"Although we have a young group for this weekend, we have most of our regular players, with only one first-choice player sitting out."
A clear rugby-loving scholar, Kleyn recalls the highlight of his career as simply running out onto the first team field.
This came a few years back with the 91 kilogram centre into his third year of first team experience.
"For me it is a big honour to be a captain of a team that has so much pride and tradition," Kleyn continued.
"I would really love to carry one playing rugby after I leave school. and even make it my career – but at the same time I intend to do some studying."
