SACS pick squad

SACS have chosen their 22-man squad for the Western Province Rugby Day at Newlands on Tuesday, 20 March and their tour to Port Elizabeth to play Grey High and Selborne College.

SACS play Brackenfell at 18.53 at Newlands and then leave for PE on Friday, 23 March to play Grey on the Saturday afternoon and Selborne on the Monday morning. 

The squad will be led by scrumhalf Cameron Calder who will be assisted by lock Adam de Carvalho, both of whom were regulars in the 2011 SACS First XV.

The squad contains nine other players with first team experience and six from last year’s Under-16A team.

The SACS squad: Andrew Edwards, Wesley Futter, Joel Macquene, Yandisa Maqenukana, Struan Murray, Dean Basson, Brentyn Delport, Fabio Brogneri, Adam de Carvalho, Miles Hoogwerf, Rory Fraser, Gino Lupini, Luke van der Smit, Cameron Calder, Christopher Smith, Philip Ackermann, Suwilanji Chibale, Jason Labuschagne, Richard Rodgers, Tando Rudah, Leighton van Wyk, Keagan Wheeler.
