Sanix Youth Tournament Starts this weekend
The matches take place in the Global Arena which has a capacity of 10 000 spectators.

That is the boys (Under-18) tournament. This year's tournament is the 19th.
There is also a girls seven-a-side tournament which started in 2014. This year's tournament is the fifth.
Participation is by invitation of the Japan Rugby Union. There will be 16 boys' teams, who play 15-a-side rugby, and eight girls' teams.

Boys' Teams
Of the 16 teams, one are Japanese schools and seven from overseas.

The Japanese teams: Akita Technical High School(Akita), Toin Gakuen High School (Kanagawa), Tokai University Sagami High School (Kanagawa), Tokai University Osaka Gysei High School (Osaka), Osaka Toin High School (Osaka), Hotoku Gakuen High School (Hyogo), Onomichi High School (Hiroshima), Nagasaki Hokuyodai High School (Nagasaki), Higashi Fukuoka High School (Fukuoka).
The overseas teams: St Augustine’s College (Sydney, Australia), Jianguo High School (Chinese Taipei), Exeter College (England), Ratu Kadavulevu School (Lodoni, Fiji), Hastings Boys’ High School (New Zealand), Enisei-STM, a club, (Moscow, Russia), Framesby High School (Port Elizabeth, South Africa).

Four of the eight teams are from Japan and four from overseas.
