SA's future on display in Krugersdorp
PREVIEW: South Africa’s top schoolboys will be in action at the Under-18 Craven Week, which will be staged at Hoërskool Monument in Krugersdorp over the next six days.
The second tournament in SA’s 2024 Youth Weeks programme will run from Monday, June 24 to Saturday, June 29 June.
Sixteen teams will compete across the matches played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The SA Schools and SA Schools A squads will be selected at the completion of the Craven Week on Saturday.
The two teams will play each other on Thursday, July 4, at the same Krugersdorp venue.
Four matches are scheduled for Day One of the tournament, with the South Western Districts and Falcons meeting in the first fixture.
The opening ceremony will be followed by the clash between Western Province, who won last year’s final match against the Blue Bulls, and the Sharks.
The Golden Lions, the hosts for this year’s tournament, will be in action on Tuesday, along with the WP XV, Griquas, Pumas, Limpopo Blue Bulls, Free State, Griffons and the Bulls.

11.00: Boland v Leopards
12.30: Eastern Province v Border
14.00: Opening Ceremony
14.30: Western Province v Sharks
