Almost the End

There are very few results this week and there will be even fewer next week.

This week there was an FNB Classic Clash in Malmesbury where hosts Wesbank surprised Schoonspruit.

There was nearly an upset in the age-old rivalry between Bishops and Rondebosch. And in Wynberg the home side just managed victory between two of the oldest schools in South Africa.

In Durbanville there was the neighbourly rivalry in which Durbanville somewhat surprisingly were victorious. In Goodwood Fairbairn surprised JG Meiring. Paulus Joubert won a Paarl derby, scoring four tries to three.

Bonnievale ended their season unbeaten with a big win over George's York High.

There were also the semi-finals of Die Burger's competition for Big, Medium and Small Schools. The finals will be played on 3 September.
