Schools Results - 28 February 2015
These are the first schools results published in 2015.
Being old, I still have seasons for sport in my mind and this is the season for cricket, athletics and swimming. But the new world tells you that there are no more seasons and rugby goes on all year.
We have already the results of Night Series Final in Durban, which Glenwood won, and other and other matches involving the 1st XVs of schools.
This will increase from now on and again, as in the past, we shall rely on kind people to send in results.
Also, as in the past, we are happy to publish reports of matches or other rugby occasions. If you have any, please send them to paul@sportsmedia365.com
We shall again publish out results in groupings – KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, Free State and Griquas, and Northvaal.
We have the results of the Pieter Swanepoel Sports Day. It is the 16th such day at Hoërskool Staatspresident Swart in Brandfort, started by the school's principal, Pieter Swanepoel. He died earlier this year and the festival has been named after him.
Landboudal also held a Sports Day with a big result for the hosts who played Zastron.
The results at this stage of the season may not involve full teams as cricket is still on the go at schools like Kearney, DHS, Westville and Glenwood.
