Schools Results - 28 July 2012
Weakened teams are a common facet of modern rugby, often because of competition between club and country interests. On Saturday there were 50 boys taking part in the national SA Schools trials, but the schools most affected generally coped well.
The schools most affected were Affies (six), Paul Roos and Monnas (three each) and then two each from Paarl Gim, Paarl Boys' High, KES and Outeniqua.
There were five FNB Classic Clashes this weekend – in Wellington, Kroonstad, Johannesburg, Riversdale and Welkom.
Tygerberg's defeat is a surprise.
JG Meiring and Bergrivier enjoyed Interschool victories.
It would be kind if anybody with a result not here sent it to [email protected].
