Paarl Boys' High ended the season unbeaten, which is a huge feat – the first time the great school has achieved this since 1982.

There were winners of competitions – Paarl Boys' High, Die Brandwag and Humansdorp down in Stellenbosch and Welkom Gim, Wilgerivier and Bultfontein up in the Free State.

Then there was an FNB Classic Clash in Rondebosch when Rondebosch surprised fiend and foe and set a record for the school in beating Bishops and in Riversdale in a farmers' derby Oakdale beat Boland Landbou in a Premier Interschools match. Oakdale win by just two points but were considerably the better side on the day.

The other turn-up for the books was Wynberg's victory over SACS who ended a great season in disappointing fashion.

Hoërskool Tygerberg, Worcester Gym, Charlie Hofmeyr of Ceres and Hoërskool Swellendam won their Interschool matches.
