Three FNB Clashes
There were three FNB Classic Clashes this weekend, a battle between the Greys, an upset in KwaZulu Natal, a close affair in Pretoria and a great match in the Cape.
Outeniqua, Bergrivier and Welkom Gim won the FNB Classic Clashes in Oudtshoorn, Wellington and Welkom.
Bloemfontein had the better of the Greys' battle in Port Elizabeth.
Michaelhouse brought off a big surprise in KwaZulu Natal, Pretoria Boys high just won and in another clash between top schools Paarl Gim and Bishops ran and ran in a thrilling match. The FNB Top 20 ranking had Bishops and Paarl Gim together on 6th place – prophetically.
President were surprise winners of the Goodwood Interschools while Parel Vallei won in the Kom.
In Kroonstad there was the great annual derby between the Rooiskool and the Blouskool.
On Friday afternoon, SA Schools B played Italy Under-18 and found the going tough.
In the cold Eastern Free State therde was a warm clash which Witteberg won.
