Schools Results - 5 May 2012
There are shocks again this week, none greater than the defeat of the top-ranked side by one nowhere near the rankings. But then it reiterates what we have been saying – that there are many strong schools in South Africa and there is not one that is invincible.
The Tygerberg win is really remarkable. Paul Roos had had a successful Wildeklawer, ending with a victory over Affies, while Tygerberg were not having the successes of last year.
There were seven FNB Classic Clashes this weekend with victories for Affies, Zweliyandila, the Wollies, Daniel Pienaar, St Andrew’s, Boys High in Potch and a surprise draw in Worcester.
There will be other results which we can fill in as we do each week when kind people send them to [email protected].
