Schools Results - 9 March 2013
The season is not yet fully under way but still results are coming in.
Most of the Eastern Cape results are from a Rugby Day at Gill College in Somerset East. Some are from the Border Rugby Day.
Nico Malan of Humansdorp had a huge win at the Gill College Sports Day in Somerset East. In beating Hoërskool Oudtshoorn 68-10 they scored 10 tries, nine of which were converted. Outside centre Selvyn Davids, who played for Eastern Province at the 2012 Craven Week, scored 32 points from four tries and six conversions. Other try-scorers were Jean Maritz (2), Heinrich Ruiters, Dean van der Westhuizen, Emile De Bod and Andries Jacobs. Darren Demingo kicked three conversions.
NB Not all the teams are playing their best sides as there are still summer activities going on. Paul Roos, for example, did not field their full team.
